Taking a break from card swaps, instead I am making a birthday album for my husband's Mother.  She will be 85 in June.   He said make a nice card, but I think she will like an album even better.  Am almost to the half way mark. 

It is not really that crooked, just scanned crooked.  This card goes to Jenn Raines on the USA group for the "Anything Goes" Swap for April 2012.  I made this when my imagination was not working. Just sweet and simple. Little layering, little embossing and a little distressed painting. Still have not got the hang of the painting yet.  Card goes out on Monday 4/16/2012.   Sorry, Jenn, for being  behind.

A couple of weeks ago we had a new technique shown to us on PaperCraftTechniques group.  Kathy Stevik did this one and sent  to me as a sample.  Her card says "Here is an example using the medallion taught, a sizzix die for the pot and my one try at stamp carving after a class by Debbie Dodd of Pittsburgh at one of Jeanielou's papercraft reunions.

This a very pretty card I rec'd from Virginia Montagna on 4/4/2012.  It is for the FREE swap in the Card Craft group.  Plus, drum roll, she also sent a surprise. It is a 4-Fold Folder (little box) from Sara's Surfaces.  It is about a 4x4 little white box to I can paper or decorste anyway I want and use for what ever.
The true colors of this card just do not show up on the scan.  It is nice chocolate brown and pink.  Wish the colors loked better.

This a card I made, simply but attractive I think.   I call it a layered  picture.  It goes to Lucy Coloco in India.   Second month in a row to her.  She is going to get tired of my cards.   Mailed  4/3/2012 The birds are Humming Birds.
