I have decided to take a break for the rest of the year on swaps.   Just not enough time to do my own for Christmas.  I will do the 1 on 1 in the Mini-book group that is actually 2, one is free style and the other is Thanksgiving theme.  I will also do the Free style on my Card Craft group. And maybe one swap on a embroidery group.  
I am trying to learn how to do this crazy card/minibook that unfolds many times.  I have made one for practice and I can do it now for real.......me thinks.  <smile>  
Plus I have my on going embroidery cards to do for Christsmas.   Have made a few, but still need  more.  But not many.  
I will start the "one a week" on playing cards soon, hope to hold out for the first of the year and do it weekly.  Must make the cover  first.
Now back to crafting.......

My poor great grandbaby took a fall yesterday and hit his head and face on the cement sidewalk, but ice cream made it all better.  But it did take a trip to the ER and was carefully watched by his very upset momma.  It is hard to look at your baby hurt like this, it hurts the momma has much.   But she said he looks much better today.  10/19/2012

This lovely embroidered and beaded card arrived yesterday (10/18) from Lucy Colaco in India.  It was a swap in the StitchACard group, the theme was Blue and Yellow  Swap.  Thank you very much, Lucy...... I always like trading with you.

The card is great and I love it.  It is my 2nd Halloween card ever.  And it is from Irene Jardine in Canada. This is for the PaperEmbroidery card group.  Oct 2012.  
The stitching on this card is amazing, so very tiny and so perfect. The edges of the pieces are gold laced. The cardstock is even different, such a lovely card and I am so pleased to have it...  Thank you, Irene.
